The Database is a system that keeps track of all people on Daraction. It has everyone's finger-prints, DNA, birth information, and criminal records. Whenever finger-prints are found on a crime scene they are runned through the database to find out who it is. The downside to this is that the hunters are using this to their advantage and tracking their "prey". Jason Knoll is not in the database because being abandoned soon after birth his records, DNA, and finger-prints were not ever recorded, making it easier for him not to get caught or for anything to be traced back to him.
